Kalamazoo, Michigan

4,465 Farmworkers Total in Michigan. Planting to harvesting season is from June to November: Vegetables, tomatoes, blueberries, strawberries, cherries and apples. The majority of workers are H-2A workers also migrant and resident farmworkers with and w/o documents. The H-2A Mexican workers have their passports confiscated by the company owners, disallowing them the freedom to leave to look for better work and pay elsewhere.
