CATHOLIC MIGRANT FARMWORKER NETWORK
March 31, formerly César Chavez Day, is now Farmworkers Day in California
Our hearts are deeply grieved by the stories of women who suffered abuse at the hands of Cesar Chavez, some at a very young age. Their voices carry a pain that must be received with reverence—heard, believed, and honored. The suffering they have borne, often in silence for many years, is a profound injustice, and we stand with them in sorrow, in solidarity, and in prayer.
Celebrating 40 Years of Mission
A Legacy of Faith, Justice, and Accompaniment
Amid today’s anti-immigrant climate, we remain a Pilgrim and Prophetic Church—walking alongside and proclaiming Christ at the margins, especially among farmworker communities.
Leadership Formation
Thanks to the generous support of the ACTA Foundation and Fr. Richard Notter (CMFN Board Member), we are excited to expand our Sembrador Leaderhip Program now reaching:
Raleigh, NC, Monterrey, Rochester/Buffalo, and Syracuse Dioceses.

WORLD DAY OF MIGRANTS AND REFUGEES
Migrants, Missionaries of Hope
“In a world darkened by war and injustice, even when all seems lost, migrants and refugees stand as messengers of hope. Their courage and tenacity bear heroic testimony to a faith that sees beyond what our eyes can see and gives them the strength to defy death on the various contemporary migration routes.”
-Pope Leo XIV
-Papa Leo XIV
